The Mississippi Elite Underclassmen Showcase allowed me to meet many athletes with the same drive and determination to play baseball at the next level. It allowed me to measure myself in comparison to the elite athletes there in skill and talent levels to see and have an understanding of the type of work that is needed for continued improvement. I appreciated the hard work done by the many coaches, volunteers, and sponsors to make this event possible, and for spending their valuable time with us. It was an honor to be selected to participate.
